PRINCETON EXPANDS FLAT-SQUARE MONITOR LINE UP WITH EO710M AND EO950
Quality 17-inch and 19-inch Displays Combine Performance with
Affordability
NEW YORK, June 27, 2000 – Princeton Digital (USA) Corp., a leading
manufacturer of computer and high-definition displays, introduces the
newest members to its EO monitor line – the EO710M and EO950.
Combining performance with affordability, the 17-inch (16-inch
viewable) and 19-inch (18-inch viewable) monitors, respectively, are
ideal for corporate and SOHO users whose primary applications include
word processing, spreadsheets, and surfing the Web.
The EO710M combines a high-contrast, flat-square CRT with an advanced
precision electron gun and Invar shadow mask to produce a fine 0.26 mm
dot pitch, 30 to 70 kHz horizontal scanning range, and 1024 x 768 at
85 Hz recommended resolution. In addition, the $279 EO710M includes a
multimedia base, making it perfect for Internet applications.
For those users looking to upgrade from a 17-inch monitor, the EO950
provides an affordable solution. With a price tag of only $499, the
EO950 features a high-contrast, flat-square CRT and Invar shadow mask
CRT to produce a fine 0.26 mm dot pitch, 30 to 110 kHz horizontal
scanning range, and a recommended resolution of 1280 x 1024 at 85 Hz.
"Users looking for an affordable monitor should not have to sacrifice
performance for cost," said William Wang, president. "Princeton’s EO
monitor line provides users with the latest flat-square CRT
technology, high-quality performance, and reliability without taking a
big chunk out of their budget."
Ensuring a comfortable viewing condition and effortless set-up, both
the EO710M and EO950 feature a high-contrast, anti-static, anti-glare
CRT coating as well as user-friendly microprocessor-based controls
that are accessible through Princeton’s PreVu™ on-screen display (OSD)
with intuitive Coloright™, which provides color balance control to
match the on-screen color to the printed output color.
The new units are compatible with IBM“, UNIX“, Apple“ Macintosh“,
Power Macintosh“, Windows“, and high-resolution third-party graphics
standards and meet all major emission and power management standards,
including TCO 95, EPA Energy Star™, DPMS, and NUTEK. In addition, the
monitors are backed by a three-year parts, labor and CRT warranty.
