EO2005 Provides Superior Performance for Demanding Applications
NEW YORK, June 27, 2000 – Princeton Digital (USA) Corp., a leading
manufacturer of computer and high-definition displays, introduces the
EO2005, a high-performance 21-inch (20-inch viewable) monitor that
boasts the ultimate in screen performance and specifications.
Designed for the most demanding applications, such as high-level
graphics, CAD/CAM/CAE, desktop publishing and text applications, the
EO2005 combines a high-contrast, flat-square CRT with an advanced
in-line high resolution electron gun and Invar shadow mask to produce
a fine 0.25 mm dot pitch, 30 to 110 kHz horizontal scanning range, and
1920 x 1440 at 70 Hz maximum resolution. The result is a $725 monitor
that quickly displays bold colors and crisp text.
"The EO2005 provides superior image quality, extraordinary screen
performance, and acute precision and accuracy for the most intense
applications," said William Wang, president. "This monitor is
Princeton’s 21-inch ‘powerhouse’ in every sense of the word."
Uniquely, in addition to a BNC and D-Sub input on the back of the
monitor, the EO2005 also includes a D-sub input conveniently located
on the front bezel, enabling notebook users to quickly connect to a
large screen display.
The EO2005 also features user-friendly microprocessor-based controls
that are accessible through Princeton’s PreVu™ on-screen display (OSD)
with intuitive Coloright™, which provides color balance control to
match the on-screen color to the printed output color.
The new unit is compatible with IBM“, UNIX“, Apple“ Macintosh“, Power
Macintosh“, Windows“, and high-resolution third-party graphics
standards and meets all major emission and power management standards,
including TCO 99, EPA Energy Star®, DPMS, and NUTEK. In addition, the
monitor is backed by a three-year parts, labor and CRT warranty.
