brightness level of 150 cd/m2. The 15-inch DPP550 touts a maximum
resolution of 1024 x 768, a contrast ratio of 300:1, a brightness
level of 200 cd/m2, and a 140-degree horizontal and 120-degree
vertical viewing angle. The DPP500 and DPP550 retail for $939 and
$1,039, respectively.

a brightness level of 200 cd/m2. In addition, this newest
USB-powered display supports 16.7 million colors and automatically
scales images to fill the screen at any resolution, ensuring a
superb viewing experience. The DPP800 retails for $2,895.
"We are committed to providing users with the display solutions
they are looking for," said Tom Paterniti, vice president of
product marketing. "Our commitment to providing high-quality
displays that incorporate the latest technological advancements is
apparent by our growing line of digital flat panel displays."
Employing pure digital technology coupled with a high-performance
digital graphics card, each DPP unit uses a 20-pin connector, a
new digital video interface recently approved by VESA" which
utilizes PanelLink` (or TDMS). This connector allows all DPP
monitors to seamlessly display images without the signal
impurities caused by the traditional conversion process from
digital to analog to digital. By using PanelLink, display signals
are directly and precisely transmitted to the panel, providing
users with crystal-clear, vibrant, polished images.
Measuring as small as three inches deep and weighing as little as
10 pounds, the DPP displays offer obvious space saving and
portability benefits. In addition, each display complies with
VESA's Flat Panel Monitor Physical Mounting Interface Standard,
and therefore are compatible with a variety of arm or wall
mounting kits, providing a multitude of installation
possibilities.
The DPP displays are compatible with IBM", UNIX", Apple"
Macintosh", Power Macintosh", Windows" 95, and high-resolution
third-party graphics standards and meet all major emission and
power management standards, including TCO 99, MPR-II, EPA Energy
Star`, DPMS`, and NUTEK`. The monitors are backed by a three-year
parts and labor warranty, and a three-year backlight warranty.
