PRINCETON ADDS 19-INCH DIAMONDTRON™ NF DISPLAY TO MONITOR
FAMILY
AGF900 First in a Series of Distortion-Free, Naturally-Flat
Displays
LAS VEGAS, Calif., November 15, 1999 – Princeton Digital (USA)
Corp., a leading manufacturer of computer and high-definition
displays, introduces its first in a line of distortion-free,
naturally-flat DIAMONDTRON™ NF monitors – the 19-inch (18-inch
viewable) AGF900. Combining state-of-the-art, flat-faced CRT
technology with uncompromising performance, the AGF900 is designed
for the most demanding applications.
Producing particularly natural-looking images for high-level
graphics, CAD/CAM/CAE, desktop publishing and Internet-based
applications, the $499 AGF900 offers a fine 0.26 mm dot pitch, 30
to 96 kHz horizontal scanning range, and 1600 x 1200 at 76 Hz
maximum resolution.
In addition, the AGF900 features a high 200 MHz video dot clock to
maintain image sharpness and clarity at the highest resolutions.
In addition to a high-contrast, anti-static, anti-reflective CRT
coating, which allows high-resolution images to retain their
vibrancy and clarity, the flat-faced design used in the AGF900
significantly decreases the effects of ambient lighting,
diminishing external reflection and glare for reduced eyestrain
and fatigue after prolonged use.
"The remarkably flat images produced by this high-performance
monitor are irresistible," said Tom Paterniti, vice president of
product marketing. "In addition to the benefits of a flat CRT, the
AGF900 incorporates dynamic focus, which improves corner focus and
screen focus uniformity, especially in the corners." The
AGF900 also features user-friendly microprocessor-based controls
that are accessible through Princeton¹s PreVu™ on-screen display (OSD)
with intuitive Coloright™, which provides color balance control to
match the on-screen color to the printed output color.
The AGF900 is compatible with IBM®, UNIX®, Apple® Macintosh®,
Power Macintosh®, Windows® 95, and high-resolution third-party
graphics standards and meet all major emission and power
management standards, including TCO 99, MPR-II, EPA Energy Star™,
DPMS™, and NUTEK™. The monitor is backed by a three-year parts and
labor warranty and a one-year 48-hour advance replacement
warranty.
